Riverston trekking – Pitawala Pathana – 1 km

This excursion lasts a full day. Riverstone is about 55 kms away from Kandy and is is about 1,863 meters above the sea level. Few kilometres of rudimentary roads take longer to reach the starting points. There are four different trekking routes in Riverston.

Riverston belongs to Knuckles mountain range. Knuckles mountain range and its physical shape is like knuckles of a fist.

The early morning breeze will bring you joy and a bit of un-comfort. So bring your cardigan. But the view from the top makes you feels like you are on the top of the world - one of the unforgettable memories in once lifetime.
