Kitesurfing Lessons in Kalpitiya – Level 3 are designed for those who have already completed the basic training and are ready to take their skills to the next stage. This advanced 9-hour course, usually spread over three days, focuses on helping you gain confidence with the board and enjoy your first independent sessions in the water.
By the time you begin Level 3, you will have already covered essential topics such as understanding wind mechanics, setting up the kite, safety procedures, kite power control, launching, piloting, body dragging, water start theory, and self-rescue techniques.
In this stage, the main goal is to transition from theory and controlled practice to riding the board with increasing independence. You will work on mastering water starts, improving your balance, maintaining direction, and recovering the board when needed. Each session builds your confidence and control in real water conditions, always under the guidance of experienced instructors.
