Whale Watching - Kalpitiya

Every day, our cozy dinghies equipped with sunshades set sail from the shores of Kalpitiya, beginning at 5:30 AM for an unforgettable whale-watching experience. We also offer departures around 8 and 9 AM, though it’s best to set out early, as the sea can become choppy after midday. If you're staying nearby, we can arrange a complimentary Tuk Tuk pick-up and drop-off for your convenience.

Kalpitiya is renowned for its sperm whales, but we’ve been fortunate to encounter massive blue whales as well. Orcas have also been spotted in these waters, so be prepared for an incredible adventure! Join us on this enchanting journey from Kandakuliya, Eluwankulama, Kalpitiya, and Gangewadiya, and witness the majestic beauty of these incredible creatures in their natural habitat.
