If you are just nearby Wasgamuwa National Park, this safari drive is very strait forward. But to reach the park from Polonnaruwa, it needs 100 kms drive, 77 KMs from Dambulla & 92 Kms from Sigiriya. It is not impossible to make it to the afternoon drive if you really want to, from those places too. And the drive to the park entrance is full of lush greenery and with endless paddy fields from Polonnaruwa.
