Embark on an adventurous trek to Bambarakanda Falls, the tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka, located in the misty highlands near Ohiya and Horton Plains. This scenic journey takes you through lush forests, mountain trails, and ever-changing highland weather as you explore some of the island’s most dramatic natural landscapes.
The trek continues beyond Bambarakanda to nearby hidden waterfalls such as Lanka Ella and Yahalathenna, where quieter trails, dense vegetation, and untouched surroundings offer a true off-the-beaten-path experience. Along the way, expect mist, sudden rain, cool winds, and rich biodiversity that define Sri Lanka’s central highlands.
With the support of experienced local trekkers from CCT Sri Lanka, this journey becomes both safe and rewarding, offering a deep connection with nature and some of the most breathtaking waterfall scenery in the country.
