Experience the untamed wilderness of Wilpattu National Park with CCT Sri Lanka. Located near Anuradhapura, Wilpattu is Sri Lanka’s largest national park, famous for its natural lakes, dense forests, and remarkable leopard sightings.

Named after the Sinhala words Wil (lake) and Pattu (region), the park is known for its unique landscape of scenic waterholes surrounded by rich wildlife habitats. A full-day safari allows you to explore deep into the wilderness in search of leopards, sloth bears, elephants, crocodiles, spotted deer, and a wide variety of birdlife.

Compared to busier parks, Wilpattu offers a quieter and more immersive safari experience, with vast natural landscapes and fewer crowds. The best wildlife sightings are usually between March and October, when animals gather around the park’s lakes and water sources.
