Wilpattu National Park – Half Day Safari from Anuradhapura

The name "Wil (ponds) pattu (terrain)" derived from the spread of small and large ponds inside the park. This National Park is bit greener than Yala National Park. And you can see taller trees as well. Unlike Yala National Park, visitors can cross to the end of Wilpattu National Park. The whole day safari is recommended for the best sightings. March to October, less rainy season, is better for safari.
